Which is better to study among Microbiology and Biotechnology in M.Sc for B.Sc(Microbiology) female candidate?


Hi,
I am confused whether after B.Sc Microbiology to go with M.Sc Biotechnology or M.Sc Microbiology. I want to know which field has better scope and job opportunities for girl?

The M.Sc Biotechnology will be better choice in terms of job opportunities. If you want to pursue research, then you can choose M.Sc Microbiology. Biotechnology covers more topics compared to microbiology like chemical engineering, processing etc. Biotechnology course is more commercial than microbiology, so the job opportunities are high for the biotechnology students. Candidates after completion of the M.Sc Biotechnology course can work in various fields like agriculture, Pharmacy, medical etc. The scope is high for the Biotechnology candidates than Microbiology candidates, so you can choose M.Sc Biotechnology course being a girl.
