* Criteria :-
a) completion of diploma with aggregate ( 65%).

* You have to appear in entrance to secure seat in government colleges through lateral entry .
* But for private colleges it is not neccessary by paying total fee .
* In top private colleges you have to pay donations also ..

Yes, you can get lateral entry admission in automobile engineering course after completion of your diploma course and ITI. Candidates who have completed Diploma in Engineering course from a recognised board are eligible to get direct admission in second year of four years B.Tech course. To get admission in second year of four years B. Tech course, you need to appear in Lateral Entry examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET examinations. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you Will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get direct admission in second year of four years B.Tech course.
