Can I get admission to study M.Tech in NIT if scored 24.64 marks in GATE being a SC candidate?


Sir,
I have belongs to SC category and my GATE marks are 24.64 and GATE score 265. Can I get NIT for study M.Tech course? Please reply as soon as possible.

It depends on the cut off for the stream in which you want admission. Being a SC category candidate you have some chance of getting admission in NIT with this score but nothing is sure because cut off varies every year.

Hence, it will depend on the kind of stream in which you want admission. In some streams the cut off is very low compared to the popular streams.
