How to prepare for general knowledge topic in the competitive exams? Who is the current chief minister of Gujarat? Can someone please give me the information on the same as soon as possible to me? Awaiting to get the answer soon!

Frist of all divide the subjects as History,science,Geography,Economics and finally current affairs...learn 10th and 12th NCERT books after that practice the bits in GK books which are available in market..

You can easily prepare yourself for the competitive general knowledge by just obeying following tips :

** Practice the mathematics as much as you can.

** For English learning you should take help from the grammar books.

** Make short note on the all important facts, this will helps you at the last time revision.

** Be regular in learning. This is the most important fact on which basis you can crack any of the competitive exam.

read the latest books related to the general knowledge.

Read newspaper daily.

Read the latest magazines.

Read the books like-current affairs.

You can get various knowledge through internet.

Various previous year paper can download and solved it daily.

You should prefer some books of general knowledge of different publications like Lucent's, Arihant, bsc and many more.
For current affairs you should read newspapers regularly, magazines like pratiyogita darpan, cronicle of bsc, India today and various yearly books to get success as because some questions on current affairs are also asked. you should prefer group studies then self study.
