Can NIOS student give Common Entrance Test?


I have falied in 1st PUC in karnataka and now i have joined for national institution of open schooling (NIOS) for my senior secondary course in karnataka. My question is am i applicable for CET (common entrance test)?

Yes definitely you can appear in Common Entrance Test , as NIOS ( National Institute of Open Schooling) is a recognized board.
It has same value as that of other recognized boards.

Yes, NIOS student can give Common Entrance test.
Candidate who have passed their schooling from NIOS are eligible to appear in Common Entrance Test.

Eligibility :
  • Candidate must have passed 12th from any recognised board.
  • Candidate must have secured more than 50% marks in 12th class.
  • Age of candidate must be from 17 to 24 years.
