Dear Friends,

I have a degree in B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering.
After searching for jobs, I got a job in a big Civil Construction company in Draughting Section.

I got 2 years of experience in Civil Construction field.

Now I would like to advance my Professional Designation.

So my query is,

How can I join M.Tech. Civil Engineering?

Any help will be really appreciated.



NOTE:
My Educational qualification and Experience is like this.
1.Civil Draughtsman ITI Course (2 Years)
2.B.Tech.Electronics and Communication Engineering (4 Years)
3. 2 Year Experience in Civil Draughting

No.You are not eligible for get admission in M.E/M.Tech in Civil Engineering.You can only apply for M.E/M.Tech in EC Engineering.If you have great knowledge in EC field , then you may have great opportunities in this field.You can choose any specialization in EC Engineering for post-graduation & make career in this field.

VLSI Design , Nano Technology , Bioinformatics , Digital Communication , Digital Signal Processing , Opto-Electronics , Cyber Secutity , Robotics , Embedded System etc.

Tips to Make a Career In EC Engineering
- Focus on Basics
- Gain more & more practical knowledge on Power Electronics , Digital Electronics , VLSI Design , Embedded System etc.
- Improve practical knowledge on MATLAB , ORCAD etc.
- Know what is the current requirement of Electronics Industry & Prepare according to that.

You have completed B.Tech in ECE so you are not eligible for M.Tech in Civil Engineering.

But you can do M.Tech course in ECE subject or it's related subject. But you should qualify in GATE exam.

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then are eligible for GATE exam. There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.
