Is honours degree necessary for GMAT 2016?


I am a b.com student without hons and I want to pursue MBA abroad, so I will be applying for gmat 2016 next year. Is hons degree necessary for mba abroad or for Gmat 2016?

You have completed B.Com so you are eligible for GMAT exam 2016.

GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for GMAT 2016 exam.

The candidate must be above 18 years of age for appearing the GMAT exam.

GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. It is a computer adaptive test conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council.

No, honours degree is not necessary for GMAT . So, you can apply for the exam.

Eligibility criteria for GMAT 2016 exam:-

-The candidate must be a graduate degree holder from a recognized board or university.

-The candidate must be proficient in English Language.

-The candidate minimum age limit to apply for the exam must be 18 years.

-There is no restriction on upper age limit to take the GMAT exam.

The GMAT questions will be asked from following areas :-

Analytical writing Assessment,

Integrated Reasoning,

Quantitative and verbal Aptitude.

The question paper will be divided into four sections and the total time allowed to write the exam is 3.5 hours.
