I am retired JCO clerk from Indian Army. After completion of 30 years service, i have knowledge on computer, typing, office documents, account ledger. So tell me the possibilities of getting job in Indian Railways?

Yes, you can get job in Railways being an Ex-servicemen.

Some of the jobs in Railways for which these candidates can apply for are given below :

* Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE).

* Manager.

* Assistant manager.

* Assistant Accountant.

* Technical Attendant.

* Technician.

* Accountant.

* Office Assistant.

* Management Trainee.

Ex-servicemen candidates should provide the necessary documents issued by the military authority along with the application form for the application to the particular post.

The candidates are selected through Written examination, Personal interview and medical examination.

You can get a job in Indian Railways being an ex-serviceman. Your dad can probably apply for the below mentioned posts, if there is any vacancy;

I have retired from Army as JCO Clerk. I have rendered 30 years of service as Clerk as well as office supervisor for 18 & 12 years respectively. I got working knowledge in computer. I am 50 years of age. My civil education is 10 2.
