Yes , you can pursue genetic Engineering course without maths also.

You can pursue this course which is known as BSc Biotechnology after 12th with Physics, Chemistry, biology as main subjects with at least 50% marks.

Admission is done through various Entrance Tests to this course.

# It is pertinent to mention that it is required that candidate must have studied the subjects Biology and Mathematics in 10+2 level. Without studying mathematics in 10+2 level, it is not possible to do genetic engineering.

# Genetic engineering is basically the branch of biotechnology which involves the detailed and minute study of cells with respect to its structure and function. With the help of artificial methods in genetic engineering, it is possible to study the behaviour of the DNA in the body and gene.

# Required educational qualification is that candidate:

* Must have completed 10+2 from recognised board.
* Must have studied the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics compulsorily.

# Desired qualities from aspirant interested in genetic engineering:

* Good concentration level
* Good physical fitness level in order to work continuously for longer hours
* Analytical mind
* Researching aptitude
* Team spirit
* Good memory in order to remember minute details

#Names of few entrance examination related to genetic engineering:

* Assam Joint Entrance Test in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology

No, Without Mathematics you can not apply for any engineering course as in the engineering Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are necessary subjects where the questions are asked in the written exam for engineering from these subjects and also these are necessary subjects in the first year of every engineering stream so you can not think about any engineering course without the mathematics.
