Sir, my name is lakhwinder singh. I am diploma student. So am i eligible or not for the post of police constable in police department. So please tell me?

Yes, diploma holders are eligible for police constable post.

Eligibility for Police Constable :

• Candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent from any recognised board.
• There is no minimum percentage criteria.
• Age of candidate must be from 18 to 22 years.
• Height of candidate must be above 167 cms.

Diploma candidates are eligible for Police Constable post if you have completed 12th standard.

If you can apply for Punjab Police as constable then educational qualification required is 12th standard.

Your age should be in between 18 to 25 years.

Candidate must hold, a pass Certificate in Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government. In the case of a Candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, he / she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examination in, both 1st year and 2nd year.
