Please can someone who studied optometry do a postgraduate course in ophthalmology, in India.

Eligibility criteria for post graduation in Ophthalmology:-

Candidate must have completed their MBBS from a recognized university which is under Medical Council of India.

Candidate must have to appear in PG entrance examination.

Candidate must have secured at least 50% marks paper wise to come under merit list.

Candidate after registration will not be allowed to pursue other post graduation related degree.

Some of the post graduation degrees are as under:-

Master of Philosophy in Ophthalmology

Post graduate certificate program in clinical Ophthalmology

Doctor of Medicine in Ophthalmology

Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology

Diplomats of National Board

Master of Science in Ophthalmology
