B.Sc. Holder candidates are not eligible for applying AFCAT Exam for joining Indian Air Force either male or female.

The candidate must have completed his/her B.Tech/B.E. course or have completed his/her Post Graduation course.

The Bachelor holders can acquire the posts in FLYING DUTY and TECHNICAL DUTY while to post graduate degree holders can hold the posts in GROUND DUTY.

Firstly, AFCAT and EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) are conducted.

After this, testing is conducted in anyone of the following cities Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar or Varanasi.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for CDS examination conducted by UPSC. The examination is conducted twice every year.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed graduation from recognised university.

Candidate's age must be between 19-23 years.

Candidate must have Physics and Mathematics as main paper in graduation.

The examination is conducted in two stages and candidate have to qualify in both stages for final selection.

As you are a graduate you can appear for IAF Indian Air force and join as a Short service commission through the IAF and there are certain eligibility criteria required to join the IAF services such as

In India Air force you can join under three different roles or jobs such as

1. Flying Branch
2. Technical Branch
3. Ground Branch

These are the three different branches in which you can enter after the graduation in India Air force

Some of the basic eligibility criteria required are

• Should have attained 19 years and not exceed 23 years
• Should be Single
• Should belong to the Citizen of India only
• Should have completed 12th with mathematics and physics and graduation in any discipline are eligible

If you satisfy the above eligibility criteria you can join IAF through 3 different selections such as

1. CDS
2. National Cadet Corps
3. Women(Short service Commission)

Girls can find several career opportunities in the Indian Airforce like Flying Officer ,aeronautical engineering, fighter controller etc.
Girls can apply for various posts available in these branches through Short Service Commission.
Minimum eligibility in qualification required is graduation in any discipline from recognised university with minimum 60% marks. They must have studied Physics and Mathematics at senior secondary level.
