Can I reappear as a Private candidate for all subjects if failed in last year CBSE 12th exam?

Sir,
I have appeared for CBSE 12th Board exam last year but I am failed in one subject which is Maths. As I could not appear for compartment exam so I have decided to appear for all 5 subjects as a CBSE private candidate. Will CBSE provide me passing certificate as I don't get it last year?

Yes, you can very conviniently do that. CBSE provides the passing certificate to the private students who appear and pass the examination.

Or you just register yourself with the NIOS (National Institute of Open School) and appear in the exam from there.

It would be much better in NIOS than the CBSE private student.

You have appeared CBSE 12th board exam last year. But unfortunately you are failed in Math subject and also unable to attend the compartmental exam due to certain reasons. You have decided to appear in all the subjects once again this year.

>>No, CBSE will not provide you any certificate of previous year result. It is the rule of CBSE that mark sheet or passing certificate is provided to students if he/ she clear all the papers in the exam. If he/ she unable to clear any paper then he/ she will not gets any certificate regarding this.

>>So you need not to worry about this. The only thing is that you have to focus on your board exams.

You can appear for all of your subjects as a private candidate in the prospective year and can improve your marks in the prospective examination.

You will however get an improvement examination mark sheet in the coming year and not a fresh certificate like an earlier one.
