i have got 19867 th rank (state rank) in aieee .Will i get a seat in NIT Durgapur? I have heard that last year (2010) the closing rank for chemical engineering in NIT Durgapur was 20,000 in 3rd round of seat allotment for the students of home state (West Bengal).So please tell if i can get any stream in NIT Durgapur on the basis of state rank in 3rd counselling (3rd round of seat allotment)? If yes, then which stream I am likely to get chance in ? And if no,then please
tell some other engineering colleges of west bengal in which i can get a seat for b-tech?

As you have secured 19867 rank in AIEEE then you can surely get a seat in NIT Durgapur. But for that you may have to wait for the last round of the ccb counseling.

So just wait for the later rounds and you will surely get into NIT Durgapur..

according to ur rank...u can get nit durgapur...but after some round of counselling like 3rd or 4th round......bcoz u have already state quota so u can get it....
in west bengal nit durgapur is the best nit.....no other college i suggest
