I'm Siddesh and I'm studying in B.A. 2nd year. After completing my study can I eligible for joining CID? It is my dream to join and become CID Officer. Please reply to me. Thank you!

You are not eligible for CID exam.
Because you can not complete the B.A course. First you can complete the B.A. After you can eligible for CID.

CID stands for Crime Investigation Department. This exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission once in a year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should be citizen of India.

Candidate should complete the graduation from any recognised university.

Final year pursuing candidates are also eligible for this exam.

But degree 2nd year candidates are not eligible to write this exam.

Age limit :

General category 20 years to 27 years
SC/ST category 20 years to 32 years
OBC category 20 years to 30 years.

Attempts:

For General category - 4 attempts.
For SC/ST category - No limit
For OBC category - 7 attempts

Physical Requirements:

Height
For men - 165cms.
For women -150cms
Height relax able for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5cms
Chest
76cms. with expansion
Eye-Sight (with or without glasses)
Distant Vision :6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye.
NearVision:0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye

Written Test
Physical Test
Interview

CID is Criminal Investigation Department of crime department under the government of India.One can enter in to this CID department in different positions such as Sub Inspector,Officer,etc.

There are specific eligibility criteria needs to be followed in order to appear for the CID recruitment.as you are in the 2nd year of B.A course you can apply after your B.A or in the finale year of your B.A course

Minimum Eligibility for CID

• Should have done 12th in any discipline and graduation in order to apply for the Sub Inspector in CID
• Should have done graduation in any discipline related to arts in order to apply for the Officer recruitment in CID.
• Should have good knowledge in Thinking in criminal perspectives.

These are the minimum qualifications for recruitment in CID department.

As you are in your 2nd year now complete your Graduation first and then apply for the recruitment with CID.

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.To join the Crime Investigation Department, you must appear in the Indian Civil Services examination.

Eligibility:-

->>Your Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum 27 years

->>Age relaxation is available as per UPSC govt.
