Hello sir, I have completed B.Com this year and preparing for SSC exam. Can I get job in Income Tax after passing SSC exam? Which course should I study to become Income Tax officer?

SSC CGL exam is conducted for various posts in income tax department. You just need a degree in any discipline from a recognized university to become eligible for it. Age should be between 18 to 27 years.

There is no specialised degree required for this exam. You can apply with any degree. Selection will be on the basis of written exam and interview conducted by Staff Selection Commission. For higher post in income tax department apply for civil services exam.

yes, you can definitely join Income Tax if clear Tier 1 exam then Tier 2 exam & last is Tier 3. You must pass all the stages with good marks as only those candidates will get job who have scored more than the cut off marks or equal to that. SSC will issue cut off list. To get the job you must face Combined graduate Level Exam.

Make your self strong in General Awareness,Reasoning,English,Quantitative Aptitude & Computer Application. Questions will come from these subjects only. Buy last year SSC CGL books & join coaching classes if you have not.

Before applying for the same check your eligibility criteria. A candidate must be graduate in any faculty from a recognized university & must be between 20 years to 27 years.
