Can I get a Government teacher's job after completing B.Sc (Distance) and B.Ed (Regular) mode? Can I appear for TGT exam and in which subject?


Respected Sir, I am Saurabh Mishra, I have completed B.Sc IT from distance mode and B.Ed regular mode so I want to know can I get a Government teacher's job after completing B.Sc (Distance) and B.Ed (Regular) mode? If you qualify the TGT exam with good marks, then you are eligible to apply for government jobs.

TGT stands for the Technical graduation test.
There are following eligibility for TGT exam.

^ Your age limit should be between 21 to 60 years to apply for the TGT exam.
^ You should have a graduation degree in relevant discipline and B.ED/BTC course or any other training certificate.

Examination schedules.
There are following marks schedules.

1.Written exam contain the 85% of marks.
2. Personal interview contain 10% marks.
3. 5% marks are given to the special qualification like PHD/M.Phill, M.ED,B.ED.

If your B.Sc in IT degree is recognized then you are eligible for government teacher jobs through TET exam.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for Elementary stage of TET exam.

There are no age criteria for TET exam.
