Now, I am studying, ECE second year, if I complete my degree after two years without any reappearance exams. Will I get govt jobs? Suppose it is possible means. What kind of jobs are possible? What kind of preparations make easy to get the jobs?

After completing ECE degree you can apply for many fields under the government departments for the job.

The best option available for these graduates is civil service like IAS, IFS and IPS. These graduates can also apply for several exams conducted by UPSC and SSC for recruiting candidates to various posts in central government organizations.

You can not get government job after bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication engineering without clearing any competitive entrance examination. If you want jobs in technical sector, you must aim to clear Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE qualified candidates are eligible for further rounds of recruitment in Public Sector Undertaking.

Other than GATE, you can apply for BSNL JTO exam, Indian Engineering Services exam, RRB Technical exams etc. For all these exams, you need to study and practice your technical subjects of ECE stream.

In case of non technical jobs, you need to focus on General studies and aptitude. You can apply for UPSC exams like Civil Services, Combined Defence Services, AFCAT exam, SSC CGL exam, Banking entrance exam etc.

After the completion of the degree you can apply for recruitment in core sector or in any other general government jobs ( banking, railway etc ).

To get job in core sector you have to appear and qualify in GATE entrance examination or appear for JE recruitment in various department. For these examination you have to focus on your stream paper.

But, for general competitions you must prepare for General Knowledge, English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude.

You can join government sector after completing graduation from any recognized university with minimum 50% marks.

Banking sector:

1. State bank of India ( SBI PO, SBI Specialist officer, SBI Clerk exam)
2. Reserve bank of India ( RBI Grade b officer, RBI Assistant exams)
3. NATIONALISED banks ( IBPS CWE PO, IBPS CWE SO, IBPS CWE CLERK)
4. NABARD
5. SIDBI

Central sectors:

1. Indian railway ( RRB junior engineer or senior section engineer, Rrb NTPC, RRB assistant loco pilot or technician exams)

2. Indian army ( Civil service examination)
3. External affairs ( SSC CGL exam)
4. Comptroller and auditor general of India
through ssc cgl exams.

You can get government job after completing Electronics and Communication engineering. ECE candidates can clear following exams to get government job:

1. GATE examination for Public sector jobs.

3. BEL and AAI entrance exam.

5. Private sector jobs in TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys etc.

Yes, after two year you become eligible for recruitment in jobs on the basis of your ECE degree.

Candidates passed B.Tech degree can appear for :-

GATE - for recruitment in PSU's.

JE- Junior Engineer in Electrical department, Railway etc.

There are also other possible banking jobs as of Bank Clerk, PO, Staff Selection Commission, Defence Service etc.

To qualify in these examination you just require to focus on your preparation as according to respective examination.

Yes, after the completion of the degree you will be eligible for appearing examination conducted for recruitment in government jobs.

For B.Tech candidates the best option is to appear and qualify in GATE. After the GATE you will get the chance of recruitment in PSU's.

There is also option for recruitment as Junior Engineer in various department. For these jobs you have to go through important topics of your paper and also there is a quantitative aptitude questions.

You will have to write entrance examination for getting government job. ECE candidates can apply for following entrance exams to get government jobs:

*Indian Engineering Services exam.

*BEL exam for ECE candidates.

*ISRO entrance exam.

*Civil Services examination.

*GATE exam for jobs in public sector undertakings.

After completion B.Tech/B.E course, you are not eligible for government jobs.
