my brother wants to opt for civil engineering and his rank in AIEEE is 1,96,000 all india. which college will be available at this rank for civil??

Dear friend,
at this rank, its bitter but its true that your brother will not get any college..
but you may try for the colleges giving seats in their college from aieee ranks.
Colleges mainly in UTTARAKHAND, HARYANA, JHARKHAND, RAJASTHAN,
DIT(DEHRADUN)
SKIT(rajasthan)
POORNIMA(RAJASTHAN)
etc, you may try in that..

I dont think he can get anything in NITs. There are some college who take AIEEE rank. You didnt mentiion your state. There must be some colleges in your state taking admission on the aieee rank basis.

Its a bit tough to get a course on the basis of your AIEEE rank. Maybe you can try for civil engineering with your state CET rank

So give it a try and see what you get in AIEEE 3rd counseling

hi madhu...AIEEE is the entrance test done allover india for the science...okay then,for that rank..you can civils in good college..but the competition goes on increasing every year...so,you can not expect the college which offered civils course last year for the rank you mentioned...this year also..so,better you go for the 3rd counselling also...

to be frank your brother can not get any NIT/IIIT college.
but he can try some private colleges through management quota

Dear it is very difficult that you will get NIT college because everyone wants admission there and there are only few NIT'S and for this the rank should be below 50,000.

But still you opt for good colleges in your state and you will easily get the CIVIL engg.

Its depends on you that which college you want and which college is on top in your state.

You can even contact with your friends who are in that colleges.

This will help you a lot.

you try to on line counselling.and also go to face to face counselling at state
counselling centre

as per your AIEEE rank he will not be able to get admission in any NIT of the country.

but there are many state universities those offer admission to the students as per their aieee rank.

u can attend the counselling of the state universities and i think u will definitely get admission as per your rank.

like WBUT offers admission to the students through aieee rank only for 10% seats of every stream.

see , getting branch in NIT is a lot more difficult than getting in IIT
because of so much unsure of people's choice
it changes every year.
at this rank u won't be able to get it in a gud college...ie nit or bit
i found that u can get it only through state kota only....so please rely on state kota
if affordable u can also opt for VIT or even SRM ....
u can also get a seat at manipal university.........
and 1 more suggestion i can give is , that u can go for architecture also
it is also like civil and with upcoming of multistoried buildings may demand a good supply of these engineers ...

hello friend,the main problem is to giving you suggestion is that you have not mention in which state you are belongs & what is your state rank.your all india rank is not very good,so you have low possibiliy to get chance in civil engineering.......

With this rank, your brother won't get the NIT colleges.

Although i don't know what his state rank is, but he can get other private or self-financing institutes with his state rank.

It may happen that he can get civil engg branch in a reputed private college.

Well since his AIR is 1,96,000 under general category that means you are not able to get through Councelling.

So, in that case and also because of your rank you wont get seat in Civil Engineering directly.

Also because not all institutes have Civil branch, besides this few seats are available in India for Civil Engineering as compared to other branches. And since Civil Engineering market is booming demand of civil engieers in India and Gulf are just booming.


So, in that case you have to opt for Management Quota, and at present the Civil market situation it will cost much, I can expect 1 Lacs per annum.

Better go to Bangalore there it will be easy to find admisssion.

Expecting good colleges at this rank is not much possible.
But private n govt both colleges of ur state considr AIEEE rankz...
So u wil have to enquire about it.
Or else u can try in d last counselling round..

if he can repeat a year to improve his rankings surely he will get a seat in AIEEE.

he will not get admission in any government college but there are many private colleges in which he will get admission with civil engineering very easily. lovely professional university will give him admission very easily and it is also providing placements. so he must try for that.

I think its hard to get any NIT college. but i will suggest you will go for the counselling conducted by the different state technical university. there you can easily get any civil engg. branch . So my suggestion is that you should go for that and remember in counselling you should fill the colleges carefully according to their placement status.

There is not any good engineering college which provides civil engineering in 1,96,000,so i can not mention the names of the institution also.

Let him prepare for the next year with full of efforts,All the best.

Hi friend,dont worry...if you got +2 marks exremely..you can free adminission in famous colleges for engineering present in chennai...these colleges do prefer to give on the marks in your +2..go ahead...all the best friend

Hi friend...u just prefer to go b-pharmacy..iam sincerely..it has a great future...i think..you can get adminission in b-pharm or else try to get in ot b.tech with your +2 score..it is excellent..there are colleges in chennai where these give adminission only for the students scorec very good percent in their +2...so...all the best my friend..

It'll be of great pleasure if you can answer my query on urgent basis ..Reason being we are on the stage of fee submission process, and need to know your valuable inputs for making decision.here goes my case:

My brother Nikki got passed in iit jee , he is desperate about CIVIL ENGI branch, currently it's clear that with 6000 rank in jee (general class) he might not get civil.But through AIEEE he is getting admission in NIT Warangal \ NIT Trichy & Delhi College of engg.

Now confusion here is which one to opt , which is good for CIVIL ENGI branch?
Which is good in terms of infra & name in india ? which has good placment records ??
Also do you think we should give priority to iit
[I mean giving priorty to brand above the choice of course ] ???

hi pankaj pardhi..how are you.you got 43 marks in AIEEE.there will be cutt-offs for some colleges friend.the cut-off mark will change year to year.each college keeps their cut-off mark depending upon their standards.so,you must contact and apply for those colleges by respective cutt-off marks

you cannot get it via national level ...but you may get it through state level counseling.......

I can get admission in DIT Dehradhun on aieee rank 50,000 in ECE branch
