Hello friends, I want to join Junior Basic Training in Delhi. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria and also the age limit to join such training. Kindly let me know about the eligibility and age limit asap. Thank you!

As per the eligibility criteria a candidate must hold qualification of at least 12th standard to pursue JBT course.

Minimum age limit should not be less than 17.

Maximum age limit should not exceed 28 years.

To pursue Junior Basic Training in Delhi, you must have secured at least 50% marks in 10+2 from a recognized University.

If a candidate is graduate, then he/she must have secured at least 45% marks in graduation from a recognized college/institute affiliated from approved University.

Age limit of the candidate is set between 17 to 28 years. For upper age limit, 3 years relaxation is provided to OBC candidates, while 5 years relaxation is provided to SC/ST candidates.

The course is of 2 years having 4 semesters in all. Each year will be divided into 2 semesters.

Admission to Junior Basic Training course is done on 10+2 marks by preparing merit list.

JBT stands for Junior Basic Training. It is a two year diploma program which qualifies its candidates in imparting elementary education. After pursing this program, one can get Jobs life:-
Teacher, Teacher Assistant, Counselor, Education Administrator, Librarian, Coach etc.

The candidate has to qualify in CET with at least 40% marks for general category and 35% marks for reserved categories to apply for JBT .
