this is vishali studyng bpharm final yr...some r saying that alternative xam 4 gate is JAME...is it crct informatio..?if so wen wil it be conducted

no,there is no alternate exam for gate.
i think you have heard some kind of rumor ,gate is the only recognized exam in India as far as now

GATE exam is only been replaced for M.pharma courses,so the institute which conducts admission to M.pharma on the basis of GATE SCORE have to follow new rules and entrance by AICTE.

Which is Graduate Pharmaceutical Aptitude Test (GPAT 2010) for scholarships/admission to MPharm programmers’ in Pharmaceutical Sciences will be conducted by National Monitoring Committee under the banner of AICTE. More details regarding this can be found at the websites of MS University Baroda and AICTE.

you should probably check if there is any exam called as JAME....i think there is no such exam in comparison of gate exam.....

gate exam is a national level exam and lots of reputed colleges participate in it.......
so there is no alternative exam for gate ..........

sorry GATE is not the alternative exam for JAME as it is an national level exam and if i am not wrong then almost all the colleges providing M.pharma course need gate score card.

GATE exam as been replaced by GPAT-2010 .Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT 2010) is an all India Examination to be conducted by The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara on behalf of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.

i tell you GATE is not going to be conducted this year
because it is being replaced with GPAT exam
only name is changed all syllabus and eligibility conditions are same as that of gate
and GPAT score is valid for only one year
and i am also doing b.pharma
