The Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration. MBA programs expose students to a variety of subjects, which students may choose to specialize in a particular area. Some of the streams in M.B.A course are accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations management, etc.It is basically a two year course and many of the students seek admission by going through exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc.So, if youir interested towards the business stream then you can choose MBA.If you wish to study abroad then you need to go through the GMAT Examination and some colleges even agree with GRE examination.

The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a postgraduate degree in computer application streams awarded in India. Full time MCA programmes normally take three academic years.Entrance into an MCA programme requires a bachelors degree from any field of computer science such as a BCA (Bachelor in Computer Application). The course of study covers a variety of topics in the computer programming and designing fields.Hence, if interested in computers side you can choose MCA which provides a tough competition for the computer Engineers.

MBA Stander ed fro Master of business administration. It deals with the business applications.Duration of MBA is 2 Years.
After completion of your B tech you can go for MBA.
Because there is a good future to join MBA after Btech.

MCA Stander ed for Master of computer application. It deals with the computer applications. This field belong to the S/W field.

Duration of this course is 3 years.
Now present situation there is no demand for MCA.

So its better to join MBA.
Good luck....

There are huge difference between MBA(Master of Business Administration ) and MCA (Master of Computer Application) because after your 12th/+2 you can ought for MCA but you need to complete your bachelor degree before joining MBA . Then in my view MBA is more preferable than MCA because in MBA there are subjects like marketing, accounts, finance , HR, by which you can get placements in good companies and in higher posts. so it is your wish then ....... ALL THE BEST.......

hi,

MBA duration 2 years.
MCA duration 3 years.(For who finish 3 years Arts or science group in ug)
MCA duration 2 years.(For who finish 4 years Engineering in ug)
If You Finish engineering in ug means, better to join MBA.
Now IT field not good. But this may change in 3 or 4 months.

If you finishes any computer related course in ug means(like B.sc(C.S.),B.sc(I.T))better to join MCA.

All the best

M.B.A and M.C.A are two completely different PG course. M.B.A is master of business administration. The minimum qualification required for candidates is graduation. This course deals with various aspects of running a business and even accounts. It is a 2 year course and this degree has a lot of value now a days. M.C.A or Master of Computer Application is three year course for mainly students who have completed computer application course for their graduation like the B.C.A. It deals mainly with the various computer languages and the hardware technologies.

MBA and MCA both are post graduation courses.

The basic differences between these two courses are:

1. Objectives:
MBA is Masters in Business Administration, while MCA is Masters in Computer Application.
MBA are for those who are interested in Business and management and corporate world, whereas MCA are for those who are interested in Software industry and programming.

2. Duration:
MBA is a 2 years post graduation course and MCA is a 3 years post graduation course.

3. Eligibility:
For MBA, anyone who has completed his or her graduation in any field from a recognized university is eligible for MBA.

For MCA, Any graduate who has passed or appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering or any approved University) is eligible to apply.
But candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation

4. Employment areas:
For MBA,
Business Consultancies, Brand & Marketing, Non-profit Organizations, Personal Business, Export Companies, Financial Organizations, Industrial Houses, Multinational Companies etc....

For MCA,
Computers and Related Electronic Equipment Manufacturers, Database Management, E-Commerce, Networking, Embedded Technologies, Design Support And Data Communications, System Maintenance, Security and Surveillance Companies, Software Development Companies etc etc....

So Both the courses are equally demanding, salaries will also be same but one has to go with his interest....

MBA and MCA are two totally different fields.
MBA is related to business while MCA is related to software and computer field.
After doing MBA, you will get a job in business organizations like marketing, finance, HR, management, accounting etc.
After doing MCA, you will get the job of software developer, software engineer, web designer etc. in IT companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, HCL, WIPRO, Accenture etc.
Both these fields have great scope. It all depends on your interest.

MBA refers to the master of business administration and MCA refers to the master of computer application.
After completing your MBA you can enter the management part of the institution.
MCA is oriented with the computer and can get the job in all software company.
Both the fields have no relation with each other.so should decide the field in which you are interested and you like the most.
