Hi friends, am working in Thermal Power plant as Electrical Engineer right now. After one year I want to do MBA Power Management in Correspondence. So please let me know the Universities offering the same in Correspondence. I tried my best to retrieve information from net. But I didnt get enough details about Correspondence. Let me know If you have any idea.

MBA in Power Management – Admissions at National Power Training Institute (NPTI) and CAMPS

National Power Training Institute in association with Centre for Advanced Management and Power Studies (CAMPS), invites applications for MBA Program in Power Management (2009-11) session.

Eligibility:
B.E. or equivalent (General - 60% Marks in aggregate of all Semesters, SC/ST- Only Pass Marks Required)

Selection will be based on CAT Score followed by GD and Interview at NPTI

Application form along with the Prospectus can be obtained in cash from NPTI, Faridabad or by post from Principal Director (CAMPS), NPTI, Sector- 33, Faridabad-121 003, Haryana by sending a crossed demand draft for Rs. 1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST & Rs.250/- for Haryana SC/ST candidates) in favour of National Power Training Institute payable at Faridabad.

The Application Form can also be downloaded from www.npti.nic.in and may be sent along with requisite DD.

Specialization in Power Management, Which I believe, Is rarely offered in India as a Correspondance course. There is literally, no such institute in india which offers correspondence course on this.
The one, I hope to possess such course is,
National Power Training Institute(NPTI) in association with Centre for Advanced Management and Power Studies (CAMPS). It seems, They offer PGP(PG Diploma) which is Equivalent to MBA. Not as is MBA.

Some which may expected to offer the course are,
MIT
University of Petroleum Energy Studies
National Education Management etc.

Do check with these Institutes.

I didnt find the course which I asked for, in any of the colleges you have mentioned here. How you say they are offering??Any of your friend/relative have undertaken??? I didnt mistake you. Try to give me the correct information after consulting with someone. I got disappointed after checking these university's websites.

You can go to university of petrolium for for requirement.
Better give BEE exam for energy manager if you have 3 years of work ex.

Please go through University of Petroleum and Energy studies..www.cce.upes.ac.in.. i am doing EMBA in power mgmt from this univ. from Jan 2010. it's a 6 semester program for which
Rs.25000 is the fee for single sem.
