Hi i am a 1st year pharmcy student may i know the pay package after this course ? i am doing it form kurukshetra university main campus..!! do guide me as its my first year i can still leave b pharmacy and go for btech

The salary for B.Pharm students is not that high.Its around 10000-15000.The various jobs available for you are ::

Pharmacists
Medical Transcription
Medical Representative
Drug Regulatory Managers

You can work in ::

Government Departments
Investigations
Pharmaceutical Industry
R&D organizations
Universities

But i will suggest you to do some course or do higher studies after completing your
B.Pharm it will provide you better job.The various option you have are ::

Hospital Pharmacy
Clinical Pharmacy
MBA in Pharma Management
M.SC. In Clinical Research
MBA in Health Care Services

Sorry to say but you can not join Btech leaving your Bpharm 1st year.But you can do Btech from 1st year.

though your salary might increase after experience...
yes it would be better to shift in b.tech but for that you have to give the entrance xams

Yes you can change your stream if you still wish too. But this provided you are not above 21 years of age. Also you should have pursued Physics, Chemistry and maths in 12th standard. If you continue in the same stream then after completion of the course you can expect a starting salary of Rs 8000-10000. But this will increase once you gain experience.

the average pay after doing m.pharm is 20,000 if you have not done your pg you will get the a salary at an average is 6,000.
if you are mpc student you can join in btech but you have to waste one yea rand you have to write the eamcet once again.
if you are bipc student there is no chance to join in btech

I actually don't support your thought. You already have started your B.Pharma..now you are feeling okay this won't pay me much lets switch to B.Tech next year.
Someone might have told you this won't pay you much. Yes, it won't. Actually after completing B.Pharma one can't expect more than Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month. But someone might not have told you that your salary can be equal or even more than Rs. 50,000 per month once you complete your M.Pharma.
It is always advised if you are going for this field you should complete masters degree at any rate. This is because only then your career will reach the height.
Now if you want to switch to B.Tech, okay you can, none will stop you doing that. But remember you will lose one precious year without any valid reason. Only in case you are not enjoying what you are doing right now only then I will say you should change your branch, otherwise not. There must have some reason for opting pharmacy. There must be something which attracted you to this. What I mean you know you must have liked it. So, if you like it there is no reason that you can't go for specialisation. Remember in this world if you have specialisation whatever field you may be belong to there will be many ways for you to convert your knowledge into money. Got it..??
