Is there any difference in joining masters program through correspondence and regular basis?

I wanted to know whether doing masters from a regular college or from a correspondence college is equivalent, specially if one wants to go in for lecturership after masters? Or does the students passed out from a regular college get some advantage over the people with correspondence degree at the time of getting a job of a lecturer.

To pursue Masters degree, through regular mode or through correspondence, entirely depends upon the individual. Candidate willing to pursue Masters degree through distance mode must make sure about the recognition of the University. If the University is recognized by the regulatory bodies i,e, UGC, Dec, AICTE, then one can definitely pursue the program through distance. However, in case of Bachelors program one should more often then not, consider pursuing through regular mode but as far as pursuing Masters degree is concerned, one may look to opt for distance mode. As far as the scope of future employment is concerned, there will certainly be no obstacles on your way given the University is recognized.

Distance education do not hamper your talent you got. If you do regular course , there is no guarantee of success. it entirely depends upon you. Masters degree just adds to your qualification. But to get a job you have to be well prepared for that, it doesn't matter a lot whether you are regular or distance student. You have to create your own value in terms of your personality, knowledge, learning or specialization.

no it does not make any difference if you pursue your master degree in distance mode or regular.but bachelor degree should be in regular mode as many govt. and private org should prefer regular students only.

There is not much of a difference in pursuing your masters degree with regular or private university as far as you're concern with the arts field.
But when it comes for the science perspective, regular masters is advisable and preferable for the better enhancement of knowledge and learning practical skills.

There is a great difference. Most of the Top Universities do not allow candidate for doing PHD course if he/she has done Masters through correspondence. There is no value for any UG or PG Done through correspondence. Top companies wont give you employment if your UG/PG were obtained through correspondence.
