I failed Gate in . I am from open category.so How many times i can apply for gate exam? If i can’t attempt Gate //then can i able to give it in next year?

Attempt as many times you want to there is no such restriction for GATE but remeber one thing that once you qualified in the exams the score will be valid for a period of 2 yrs .

Eligibility for GATE Exam:

• **either Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture

• **either Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology

gate marks are applicable for all colleges and it is valid for 2 years ..

Dear friend,

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam . You can try it in maximum times.

The GATE score is valid for only 2 years.

There is no limit on the number of attempts for the GATE exam.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

Eligibility criteria:
One should have completed graduation on Engineering with any stream.
Candidate who are pursuing final year of Graduation course in Engineering can also apply for this exam.
Candidate who are pursuing pre final year of Engineering course are not eligible to apply for this exam.
There is no age criteria to appear for this exam.
One can apply for this exam at any age if he fulfill the require academic criteria.

There is no fixation in the no. of times you can appear For Gate Examination . Also There is No Age Restriction.

The Eligibilty Criteria For GATE are :

1) You Must Have a Engineering/Technology/ Architecture and also those who are in the final year of the Programme.
2) You are eligible if you are in 2nd or higher year if you are pursuing 4 year integrated Master's degree programme in Engineering/Technology or if you are in 4th or higher year if you are pursuing 5 year integrated Master's degree programme in Engineering/Technology.
3) If you have qualified examinations conducted by UPSC/AICTE/AMIE , THEN YOU ARE ELIGIBLE.
