How much does a custom officer earns per month? what r the education qualification for the same.

& salary of custom officer increases as per their experience, but starting basic pay is 21000 rs only.

For becoming Custom officer, you have to be a Graduate with 50% marks
Must be between 18 to 30 years
Must pass Civil Services Exam conducted by UPSC

Scale of Pay is fixed as per the Pay Commission rules and also it depends upon how much years he has put on service? and on which pay scale he was previously getting?

To become a custom officer, you will have to appear for combined graduate level examination conducted by staff selection commission.
The minimum educational qualification required is a bachelor's degree from a recognised institute.
The examination is divided into Preliminary exam and Main exam.
The preliminary exam consists of two papers with maximum marks of 100 for each. The subjects are
General Intelligence & General Awareness
Arithmetic

After passing the preliminary exam, you will be eligible to write the main exam.
The subjects for the main exam are as follows.
English Language 100 marks
Language Comprehension (English) 100 marks
Communication Skill & Writing Ability 200 marks
Arithmetic 200 marks
General Studies 200 marks

The pay-scale of a custom officer is Rs.6500-10,500

well the more you work more you achieve your goal.....
the earning of custom officer is Rs-30,000/- onwards...
the minimum qualification for becoming a custom officer is graduation wth atleast 50-60% aggregate with recognised university... after passing it you are invited to give civil service exams which is conducted by the respective government....
again you pass it you are require to get trained and all selection and training process occurs according to that selected place......

A Custom Inspectors are in the pay scale of 6500-200-10500 given a grade Pay of Rs.4200, entry level pay in the pay band is Rs. 13,500.(this is official)

Custom officer are recruited through IAS civil services examinations. Into which 'Indian Revenue Service (IRS) - Customes & Central Excise' are known for custom officer post entry.
PAY: Initially you will be recruited as junior officer as Pay band 3
which is 15600/- to 39100/- plus grade pay of 5400/-
After that this grade pay will be increased to 6600/- INR.

During the start of career itself a customs officer is placed in PB-3.so including the basic pay,grade pay,HRA(10-30 PERCENT of the basic and grade pay combined),
TA,DA,other allowances;all inclusive he will draw a starting salary of 52,000 rs per month.(the amount will however reduce if goverment is providing him quarters and please note that the salary is only 21,000 rs and the rest is allowances which may vary. Hope you got an answer,bye.

education qualification:a degree from recongnised college
grade pay/pay scale:after joining starting salary will be 20k
but as per as the post it will be 30k also.

note:-after 6th pay commission there is a increment in salary up-to 60%.
