hi,
i want to know the qualification needed for the admission in nanotechnology.
is there any special exam require to get admission in institute of nodia.
what is the last date for the form.

Eligiblity depends upon university crieteria these are some name,visit their respective site for more information.

There are many institutions which have started courses in nanotechnology
Jawaharlal Nehru Center for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore;
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore;
National Physical Laboratory, Delhi;
Solid State Physics Laboratory, Delhi;
National Chemical Laboratory, Pune;
Central Scientific Instruments Organization, Chandigarh;
Defence Materials Store Research & Development Organizations, kanpur
Indian Institutes of Technology at Kanpur, Chennai, Guwahati, Delhi and Mumbai.
In private sector also, there is one institute, Amity Institute of nanotechnology, Noida, which offers a two- year M. Tech degree programme.

Vellore Institute of Technology also provide courses in biotechnology

du Delhi offers mtech in nanotechnology.
eligibility criteria is b.tech degree in nano science

Nano technology is a very core ,vast and tipical subject so i will suggest you to do it from institute like IIT'S as also because it one of emerging field with not so much foot hold in india.

for b.tech you have to appear for iit-jee and iit-jam for m.tech/m.sc. course.

various institutes do not offer it at bachelor level,because of its tipicality to handle at bachelor level.

for taking admission in nanotechnology you must have 10+2 in PCB for the graduation and graduation for the master course.

you can persue M.tech in nanotechnology,today the hottest research in nanotechnology for computers is introduction of 'graphene' computer chip in place of silicon,which will enable the upcoming computers to work 10 times better then,silicon computer chips.

However,for m.tech from IIT's you have to chrack GATE entrance exam,which is conducted by IIT's for admission to m.tech programs.Detail from offficial website of any IIT,FOR EXAMPLE-http://www.gate.iitb.ac.in/gate2010_website/

You can also persue M.sc in nanotech,from IIT's for it you have to crack IIT-JAM,which is conducted for admission into m.sc courses at IIT.Details from official website of any IIT.

there is very few university which offer the course in nanotechnology,
among all some iit and iist is the best,
and if you want to take the admission in this course then after b.tech you can take it in m.tech ,

Eligibility Criteria

Firstly the applicant must be an Indian citizen and then the applicant is considered eligible for the course if he/she has at least 55% aggregate marks for General/OBC Category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST and PD Category candidates in the qualifying degree that includes B.E. / B.Tech degree in Biotechnology/ Biomedical Engg. / Bioinformatics/ Chemical Engg. or M.Sc. in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology / Chemistry

I have done 10 2 with PCB and I want to do dual degree in Nanotechnology. Please suggest the best possible university/instt which is also economical. I am aware of Amity and SRM offering such courses but they are more commercial and costly.
