sir, im 20year old girl and 3rd year BE student from Computer science branch, im also a MARTIAL ART player and i have many gold medal in NATIONAL karate & taekwondo champianship , also BRONZE medalist in INTERNATIONAL karate tournament which is held at NEPAL.I want to continue my game & doing something for my country, if i can join other field it is not possible .so please sir tell me that there is any scope for girls in INDIAN ARMY as a sports person. plz tell me about the process to join indian army

as you have won many medals at national level you have very good chance of getting an good job in many government organizations
you can try for railways,
as for as army is concerned there is definately an quota for sports persons,
i would advice you to write cds,

I good to hear that you want to focus on studies too at the same time. There is lots of scope in Indian Army for everyone. So dont consider yourself separate.

What you can do is you can apply for Indian Army and side by side you can fulfill your dream as a martial art champion. You will even get lots of leverages if you are a national player in your Indian Army course

you should oin or apply for indian airforce and also You are interested in sports. So I think you can become physiotherapist and fitness trainer. Since you go gymnastics fitness training will suit you. Physiotherapist and fitness trainers both earn good money and you can also be beneficial for the society.

yes you have a option in INDIAN ARMY as aeronautical engineer......you are participate in INTERNATIONAL karate tournament in NEPAL so you have sports quota in INDIAN ARMY.for this you will appear in INDIAN ARMY selection test . main criteria for this you will get 60% aggregate marks in your b tech .....................

S, i like to suggest you to join defence after completion of your BE degree.
In defence you will get bonus point a you are a national player & also participated in International karate tournament in NEPAL.
so, you will get benefit.
& after entering in Defence you can get a chance to continue your sports.
Because, there are a lot of scopes for a sports persons.

kindly apply for EKT(engineering knowledge test) for Air-force or can apply in Indian army through UES(university entry scheme).

yes you can join indian army simply by writing the cds exam and also you can do best as you are carate player you can show to the other girls that girls are not week they also have potential.best of luck dear.

Definitely girls can apply in Indian Army.
If you are thinking about joining go to your local Kadets or Army Center (Depending on Age),Every month army job open even man or girl all man and woman can apply there.

You can also Visit to your local recruiter, they will be happy to help you there are many opportunities in military for both genders.

Technical Entry Scheme selection procedure

1) short listed candidate will be called for services selection board SSB Interview at Bhopal ,Banglore or Allahabad.SSB Interview will be held in Aug/September onwords

2)Duration of SSB Interview is five day excluding day of arrival ,During there stay at SSB interview ,Candidate are put through Psychological Test,Group test and Interview.

3)candidate will be put through stage1 of the selection procedure on the first day, only successful candidate shall be retained for balance of the testing.The candidate who fail to qualify the stage 1,will be retained on the first day itself.

4) Successful candidate at the SSB will be required to undergo medical test lasting 3 to 5 days less Sunday and gazetted holidays.

Mam i think you should try cds as you are in 3rd year of BE student as its completed then you have to fill cds forms are available at post office in month of june

i was 10 time national gold medalist in karate and one time gold in international tournament and now i was selected for other international tournament held in germany
