Information Regarding IAS Examination.

IAS officer job is the one of the most famous job of India. IAS examination is also known as the civil services examination which is conducted by UPSC in every year for the selection of the talented candidates of India as the post of IAS officer. To appear in the IAS examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = Graduation in any stream from a recognize University. The final year graduation student are also eligible to apply for the IAS examination.

Indian Administration Service (IAS) exam is conducted by upsc every year once.

Eligibility criteria for IAS exam:
Education qualification:Candidate should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.
Age limit:
Min age 21 year, Max age 30 years for General Category candidates
Min age 21 year, Max age 33 years for OBC category candidates
Min age 21 year, Max age 35 years for SC/ST category candidates.

Indian Administration Service(Preliminary exam) Notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 4th Feb 2012 to 5th March 2012.
Exam will held on 20th May 2012.
Indian Administration Service (Main Exam) notification for this year:
Exam will held on 15th Oct 2012.
Yet notification details,were not update,i hope they will be updating notification after preliminary exams.

Hello friend,

To become an IAS officer, candidates should have to first complete their 12th class and then graduation and then have to pass IAS entrance exam which is held by upsc...
the eligibility criteria to be eligible to apply for IAS entrance exam are:
-the candidates can choose any stream in their 12th class...
-the candidates must be completed graduation in any courses or stream with minimum 55%..
-the age limit to be eligible is between 21years to 30years...
-you should also have a physically capability ...

so for IAS preparation, you should have to get more and more general knowledge and all issues related to the nation...

It is very appreciable that you want to become an IAS officer in future and want to serve the nation.

To apply for the IAS you have to appear in the Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC.

The criteria to apply for the Civil Service examination is that a candidate must be a graduate in any stream from a recognized Institution.The age of the candidate must be between 21-30 years.Age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years are given to OBC and Sc/ST candidates respectively.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service

This exam is one of the Indian Civil Service exam and this exam is being carried out by UPSC and is held every year.

csat exam conducted by.upsc for recruiting ias ips ifs etc as screening or pre.the eligibility is graduation from any stream and age between 21 to 30 for general candidate.for obc 3 year relaxation.for sc st 5 year age relaxation.

For becoming a IAS officer, you must have to clear the civil service examination, conducted by UPSC (union public service commission).
this civil service examination has three stages-

There is no specific exam like IAS exam, to become an IAS officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC once every year.

The minimum age criteria for Civil Service exam is 21 and maximum 30 years for General candidate.

There is upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years i.e. the candidate can appear CS exam up to the age of 35 years.

And for OBC candidate up to 3 years i.e. the candidate from this category can appear for CS exam up to 33 years.

Apart from this age criteria one must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University.

In order to become a IAS Indian administrative service officer..
There is a INDIAN CIVIL SERVICE (ICS) exam, conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC),Through which one can make a way in administrative & police services of the India.

The minimum educational requirement for appear in this examination is a graduation degree from a recognized college,.
You may opt any stream , according to your interest, in graduation..

The age limit for this examination is 21-30 years for general candidates,
21-33 years for the OBC candidates,
21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates....

This civil service examination has three stages-
1. CSAT
2.MAINS
3. INTERVEW..

IAS Eligibility :

Academic Qualification :
The candidate must be graduate from any university.

Age Limit :
ForGeneral :21 to 30 years.[SC/ST will get 5 years age relaxation and OBC will get 3 year age relaxation]

No Of Attempts :
General : 4.
SC/ST: Unlimited.
OBC :7.
