This is a very broad question as it involves a lot of aspects, points and decisions. I would start with the following:

Doing PG in abroad is a very good idea in fact the idea itself that you wish to do PG is commendable because not many people wish to study further these days. However there are a few points to consider before you take up a career that is outside India.

1. It would involve a lot of cost and therefore generally not recommended to people who wish to make a career in India and are looking at best return on investment and therefore it become a really costly affair to do PG from outside of India

2. Also you must be really clear on what you wish to do after you are done with your PG from that particular country. Many people opt to stay there and get a job while others come back. However, coming back does not help at all because Indian companies do not value the foreign degrees so much and their pay packages is only as per Indian standards

3. Some of the top countries that are considered best for PG education are:

United States of America
United Kingdom
Australia and New Zealand
Europe
Canada etc

4. As far as cost goes, UK and Europe cost the most while USA, Australia and New Zealand cost relatively less than the formers. But still the cost involved in studying from abroad is HUGE and the investment would take a very long to time to reap benefits.

5. IT is well established in India and so if you are looking for a career in IT then there can be no better country to start with. However, if you are planning to take up IT as your PG and then resume working then USA should be a very good option. PG courses in Indian are relevant such as M.Tech or MBA. Both have their own importance and demerits.

In the end it all depends on what you wish to do in life and how much you are willing to spend in order to gain a PG degree.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
