i have completed my btech in ece branch.Am i elgible for doing power engg in mtech. can youu provide info regarding colleges providing mtech in power engg . are there any deemed universities which give admisssion without the gate exam.

some iits are providing mtech in power engg,even some nits also.you can visit their website

m.tech in power engineering is available in iit delhi
you have to get an rank around 350 to get admission in iit delhi,
yes some colleges conduct there own exam,
like vit,kits etc,they take students without gate score

Colg providing M.tech in power electronics are the IIts and The Nits they are the best one..
some state university also provide them.
but u hav to get good score in GATe.

so try hard to crack GATE and consentrate on ur fundamentals..

You are absolutely eligible for M.tech power engg but you have to search your college for this stream,you can visit IIT or NIT's official website...

I have completed my B.E. in Mechanical Engg in 1991.
I am interested in pursuing M.Tech in any related branch of Mechanical Engg., except in CAD/CAM.
Kindly advise where the above is possible, full time, part time, and via corespondence.
I am not in a position to give GATE exam any more.
What are the future prospects of a correspondence course?
