sir i m doing mtech(computer science) i want to know the carrier option after mtech

dear friend,
After M.Tech you can choose so many career option as per your interest.

Either you can join any software companies like IBM,Accenture,TCS,Infosys,Wipro etc.

Or you can apply for the lecturer in any engineering college.

Or you can do further higher studies like M.Phill, PhD etc.

or you can go for research work in any university in India or Abroad.

first of all u choose in which sector u want to go.
if u r interested to goin software sector then for ur various software companies r

if u r interested to go in govt sector then u have to sit in various govt. exam.
if u r interested in airforce.then for ur various exam r

or u can go teaching sector by giving ssc exam.

Well its great to hear that you doing MTech in computer science. You can directly start working and land up in a plush job or you can go for further studies depending on your interest level

You can try for a PHd in Computer science from india or abroad ...Thats the only thing i can think of now..

There are many option after completion of M.Tech. You can apply for lecturer job in any good institutions. Otherwise you can go for software jobs, database manager, networking field, linux administration system,ccna,rhce(redhat certified engineer),software development and many more jobs in highly reputed multinational companies.
So don't worried about jobs just complete your M.Tech.

There are 2 career options available to MTech in computer science students:
Higher studies
Job

Higher studies i.e. Phd is preferable if you are interested in research & development field. A doctoral degree is also ideal for pursuing a career in teaching. With a phd degree you can join as a professor in some engineering institute.

If you are not interested in higher studies then you can take up a job. The course of M.Tech in computer Science offers wide job prospects with decent salary & high promotional opportunity. One gets job in I.T and software firms. There are various private as well as government sector jobs available in the market.

As you are pursuing your M.Tech and you want to read more then i think you may go through in the following two paths.These are..........
1.Phd and
2.Research

One thing if you choose 1 then can go for lectureship or you can go for any kind of related to your subject in different multinational companies.
Otherwise if you choose 2 then you may become a scientist later.

So choice is upon you.

after M.TECH in computer science you will be eligiible for various jobs in both private as well as in govt .sector jobs.

there are many IT firms like TCS, INFOSYS, IBM, CTS ,HCL are recruiting students in a large number.

you can also apply in govt sector jobs like in

DEFENCE

RAILWAY

AVIATION

ISRO

DRDO

BARC

etc.

you also join as a lecturer in various private as well as in govt. reputed colleges.

Yeah its true that India has witnessed a back bone broking recession, but its also true that MArket is coming back with whole new and plethora of oppurtunities.

And since you are a M.Tech gradutate that adds as an Asset in Job market.

But just having a M.Tech dergee cant help you unless you had a stronge Foundation in Programming like- C, C++, JAVA and beside these excellent communication skills will add as an asset for you.

This is what Big IT Giants like- Google (India), IBM Demands.

If you have above skills then you can easily fetch a job in the line of Software Engineer, Software Tester etc.

As you are a student of M.Tech in Computer Science you can go for lot of field like :-

1) You can go for s/w company jobs in the companies like :-
TCS,Infosys,WIPRO,IBM etc.
The amount of salary they pay is really very high to the employers with mtech.

2) You can further go for GATE exam and then can apply for fellowships in ISRO,DRDO,IOCL etc.

3) You can go for lecturer job in the private engineering colleges.

4) You can try for state and central govt. jobs like in the banks,army,rail etc.

If you are pursuing M.Tech in the discipline of Comp. Org. related subjects, you are on great demand.
Companies like Nvidia, Cognigant, etc., are good for you.

I would suggest you to apply directly to companies. The response will be immediate and fruitful as well.

Plenty of options are there. You can either join for a PhD program, or go into some research sector in computer science. There are many firms which absorb high profile Mtech students as scientists and top notch engineers like IBM and Oracle in the hard core processing units. You can join academics field.

surely electronics is a very good field. you may join in government sector like BHEL, DRDO, SAIL etc if you are interested in electronics.
otherwise if you want to go far with computer science as you are doing m.tech on it then also it is a very good idea. after m.tech you may join in nay institution as a lecturer. also you may go for p.hd and in research field after completion of m.tech in computer science.

you may join in software company like TCS, WIPRO, IBM, INFOSYS etc a very reputed company. now find out in which field you have more interest. if it is electronics then go with electronics otherwise choose computer science.

if you do MTECH from iit,or nit, or some very good govt.inst, then you can get job in it companies easily,,,,and your salary will be definately good,than btech student

After your PG you have lot of options you can enter in govt jobs or private sector. As you are from computer science private sector provide better opportunity for you many MNC prefer Mtech student over BTech.
You can also go for further study in either Phd or MS.
You can enter in the field of Teaching.

After Mtech in computer science and BSc & Msc in electronics gives you 2 field to enter.
You can go for electronics field in hardcore electronics like manufactureing, design.
You can enter in software field either as tester or development.

Yes you can do Mtech from IIT but it depands on your ranking and score in gate.
Different IITs have different cutoff and vary according to branches.
Sucess is not a guarentee you for IIT you must score really good rank in the same.

Great as you are in airforce so after your MTech you will again join air force.
After your retirement from air force lot of jobs available for you in govt sector at good posts.
You have to face various public sector exam, but no need to worry as there is a quota for you.

Your CGPA makes eligible for companies like TCS, Infy, and other software companies. But your 10th and 12th percent should also be atleast 60%.
