MBA stands for Master of Business Administration. This is a 2 year post graduation coruse. This course is in good demand these days. It is providing number of job opportunities for the candidates.

Having completed B.Com in Finance, definitely MBA in Finance is the best choice for you. Because already you have accumulated some knowledge on financial aspects in your B.Com course and this will become an added advantage for you in MBA course.

Try to get admission for MBA course in a reputed college or B-scholl so that there is good value for your MBA degree and you can easily get good jobs by campus placements.

The admission to MBA course will be given on the basis of performance in the entrance exams like
-CAT
-MAT
-GMAT.

If you are not interested in Finance, then you can opt for the specializations whichever you wanted.

Dear Friend,

It is very good thinking to join MBA after B.Com.

MBA is a two years Master's degree course in Business Administration.

As your Honours subject is Finance then it is better for you to choose MBA in finance and management. You can also choose Marketing management field. Or you can also apply for any of the stream you like the most as in all the stream you will find equal oppourtunity.

Best Wishes....

SUITABLE SPECIALIZATION FOR CANDIDATE OF B.COM(HONS)

The various type specialization are there in India for MBA course.

You can choose any of these subject.

1. Finance (F)
2. Human Resource (HR)
3. Marketing (M)
4. Entrepreneurship (E)
5. Technology Management (TM)
6. Public Management (PM)
7. Strategy (S)

9.Sustainable Business (SB)

You are a student of commerce department so if you can choose finance then it will help you for understanding the subject properly.

Because finance subject are related to commerce department also you have some experience in finance field.

The placement and jobs are good for MBA finance departments.

So the best specialization for you "FINANCE" .
