I have completed my mca.
and i want to know CSIR-NET or UGC-NET exams details for mca students?

an mca student can do phd?
what are sources for me to do phd program.

Those candidate have completd masters degree from recogniged university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

If you have GATE or NET score then you are applicable for PHD programme.

Eligibility For UGC NET Exam

The NET (National Eligibility Test is conducted every year twice in the months of June and December by the UGC (University Grants Commission) for lectureship and JRF (Junior Research Fellowship Program)

For appearing in the UGC NET Exam..a candidate must fulfill the following minimum eligibility criterion :-

1) The candidate must be a final year post graduation student with an aggregate of 55% or above..

2) There is no age limit for the lectureship program but for applying for the JRF program..a candidate must be within the age limit of 19-28 years as seen on the 1st date of the month of the exam..
