technical students have a great scope in DEFENCE.

YOU WILL have to apply for various entrance exams like

EKT

OTA

UES

after this you will be called for SSB.

you will get officer level jobs in technical field.

there are a lot of scopes of you in Indian Army,Indian Air force,Indian Navy.

& you are eligible as you a student of ECE.

In Air force there are some seats for Aeronautical engineers & for that you can apply.

The notification for this type of defense seats are published at a regular interval of time.

Kindly follow employment news as well as daily newspaper regularly.

You can also go through UES(university entry scheme).

hello friend

there is no special position for an electronics engineer because they will not recruit seperately the engineering students till then they require specially on any special tasks

so all the engineers are joining into the officer posts if they have all the physical elements like good height weight and body

this is the scope of any graduation students in the defense services

yes you can apply for the IAF exam...you can write the CDS,UES,TES exam to get into IAF....also you can try for the technical entry in IAF through direct interview...

if you want to apply for Indian army then there is no cut off percentage...you just need to have a degree certificate...then you need to write any of the exam conducted like CDS,UES,etc...also try for technical entry if you are a engineer or also with NCC 'C' certificate interview..

your age should fall between these two limits to recruit in the desired Academy.

UES – (Final Year) – Born between 02 Jul 86 and 01 Jul 92 – Not below 19 years and not over 25 years.

UES – (Pre-Final Year) – Born between 02 Jul 87 and 01 Jul 93 – Not below 18 years and not over 24 years.

Technical Graduates Course (TGC):: This entry is only for engineering graduates:

Total Vaccancies: Engineers : 57 posts (Civil-11, Electrical-8, Mechanical-8, Computer Science-5, Telecom-10, Electronics-06, IT-4, Production-3, Architecture-1, Food Tech./ Bio-Tech. – 1)

Age : TGC : 20 to 27 years. Born between 02 January 1984 and and 01 January 1991, AEC – 23-27 years born between 02 January 1984 and not later than 01 Jan 1988.

Yes, my friend after completion of B.tech/BE course in ECE , you can join in different sector in defense..

For that you have to crack the exams like-

1.CDS
2.UES

Through these exams you can join in technical branch in defense..

I'm persuing my Bachelor degree in Engineering(B.E.) with branch ECE.but I've a problem that my both eye is effected wiyh myopia with power of -4.25 in both eyes.
But I've very much interest in Indian Army,IAF & IN. Will I try for the technical field of these?
