what is the fees for entrance examination of bitsat

• MALE Rs.800 via postal Rs.900
• Female Rs.400 viapost Rs.500

There is special provision for girls in BITSAT fee.

BITSAT is the entrance examination for entries on candidates in the B.Tech programs in BITS campuses in Pilani and Goa.

One campus is placed in Dubai also.

I am writing the fee structure for the registration. Hope it helps.

BITS application can be sent in two ways :


ONLINE
OFFLINE

Online application procedure can be done here :

http://www.bitsadmission.com

The completed application form (printed) along with the prescribed fees of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for female candidates) should be sent to Admissions Officer, BITS, Pilani – 333 031.

Offline application forms can be bought from banks and other private shops.

Deadline to apply for BITSAT-2011 by submitting the completed form to the Admissions Office, BITS Pilani is 5.00 PM on 30th January 2012.

Those who register for the test and reserve the test dates have to download the ‘Hall ticket’, alongwith instructions, from BITS website as per the schedule given earlier.

The tests will be conducted during 10th May – 10th June 2012. (approx dates)

Application Fee for BITSAT online form is
For Male Rs. 800 through postal Rs. 900

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT :-

The candidate must secure at least 75% aggregate marks in Physics,chemistry,Mathematics OR 60% aggregate marks in Physics,chemistry,Mathematics and adequte English.

Those who are studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for BITSAT examination.

The last date for applying by completing the online application along with prescribed fee is 15th February 2012.

If you choose centers within India Application Fee for male candidates will be Rs.1600/- and for female candidates it will be Rs 1100/-. If you choose Dubai as a center the Application Fee for both male and female candidates will be same and will be US$50 (or Rs.2500/- Indian Rupees).

If you are planning to make payment through Demand Draft, you will be required to pay an additional amount of Rs 100/-along with the Application Fee as processing Fee ( i.e., Rs1700/- for Male candidates and Rs 1200/- for female candidates). Also ensure to get the DD made before proceeding to apply on line as the DD details will be required while filling online form.
