kindly guide regarding the schedule, procedure and syllabus for drug inspector examination. I m working as a lecturer in a college and have completed my m. pharm in yr 2005.would like to work in maharashtra only.kindly help

Yes, M.Phram student are eligible for DRUG INSPECTOR EXAM.

Drug Inspector exams are conducted by mostly by all state government for their states.

The eligibility criteria for this exam is given below.

You must have completed degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University or equivalent.

Also you have 3 years' experience in the manufacture or testing of Biological .

Your age must be above 18 years.Your maximum age must be below 32 years.

yes u r elligeble for DI exam

Qualifications of Inspector:-

A person who is appointed as an inspector under the act shall be a person who has a degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical science or medicine with specialisation in clinical pharmacology or microbiology from a university recognized by the government of India.
Provided that only those Inspectors:-
1.who have not less than 18month experience in the manufacture of at least one of the subjects specified.
2.Who have not less than 18month experience in testing of at least one of the subjects specified in a laboratory approved for this purpose by the licensing authority;or
3.who have gained experience of not less than 3 years in the inspection of firms manufacturing any of the substances specified.

Qualifications:

• you should have a degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical chemistry or medicine specialization in clinical pharmacology
  
• You should have 3 years experience in Drug manufacturing.
  
• You should have studied chemistry in Pharmacy as compulsory subject.
  
• Candidate who has completed masters in pharmacy can also apply.
  
• your age should be between 21 to 35 years.

If you want to get jobs in Maharashtra and want to work as a Drug Inspector then you will have to apply for MPSC(Maharashtra Public Service Commission) Drug Inspector Exam.This exam is conducted bt the state of Maharashtra for recruitment of officers in Government Hospitals and Health Departments of Maharashtra.To apply for this exam,you will require to meet these Eligibility conditions :

Educational qualification :-

• You should have a Bachelor degree/Engineering degree in Pharmaceutical science with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology.

Marks :-

• General/OBC category - 50% Marks in Bachelor degree.
• SC/ST category - 45% Marks in bachelor degree.

Age :-

• Candidates minimum age should be 21 years.
• Candidates age should not be above 30 years.

Age Relaxations :-

• OBC category - 3 years of age relaxations.
• SC/ST category - 5 years of age relaxations.

Exam Pattern :-

• This exam will include two question sets.
• Each questions sets will include 150 questions.
• Total duration for each question set is 2 hour and 30 minutes.

Exam Syllabus :-

1)Paper I(General Paper) - 150 Marks .

• General studies.
• Mental ability.

2)Paper II(Subjective Paper) - 300 Marks .

• Pharmaceutical science - Degree level.
• Biology - 10+2 Level.
