I am PYARELAL . i have passed 10th board in 2006 with 59.2% marks from BIHAR BOARD. and i have failed 3 times in 12th board examination from CBSE BOARD. And now i am going to sit again for 12th board from BIHAR BOARD. Can i sit again in IITJEE examination? I am so nervous that how will be able to pass any engineering examination and 12 board at the same time. please help me.. but i want to do b.tech. from any gov. engineering institute.. because i am from poor family.. please let me , how i could get success in the examination.. what will be the best for me..?

hi, your eligible to write both the exams , u need n't to wory for that , first u complete ur inter exam because if u again failed u don't have eligibility to study BTECH for this year.First u need to make a perfect time table when your exam appearing on which date how much time i have .Acc to that u design ur time table and work hard as much as possible . And if u have any reserv u can get a seat in a good clg to std BTECH. Don't became nervous work hard for your family.All the best

The age limit for appearing in IIT-JEE is 25 years.


For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PD categories, age limit is 30 years.

Also a candidate can take the JEE two times at the most.
This has been done mainly to reduce stress on students.........

your qualifying exam for IIT-JEE will be

• If you are 12th class passout or appearing
  
• else if you are diploma passout or appearing...

Either of these qualification will be consider...

One must score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate that is 60% overall percentage including Physics,chemistry and Maths in your qualifying exam for GENERAL AND OBC..and 55% for SC/ST,PD...

So if fit to above criteria then only you can apply for IIT....

hello PYARELAL, there is no rule for IIT exam saying that you have to pass the board exam in single attempt only. the eligibility is that student should be either either appearing for 12th exam or should have passed out an year befiore that and the maximum age should be 25.

but as a friend, after hearing your situation i would sugget you to not run after IIT exam and prepare well for the bihar engg. entrance exam or for the WB entrance exam . As you have told your academic background, i feel itr would be much easier for you to do well in these state exams. ALL THE BEST

you can not seat 3 times in IIT exam
because
in IIT exam there is a rule like
only you apply for this exam is 2 times in your life time

For IIT exam you give the IIT JEE entrance exam
then if you eligible for admission in IIT
then you go for Admission in any branch that will no matter
because IIT name is sufficent.
For any company to see u and give the job in good salary..........

firstly give your 12th exam because the criteria to appear for IIT exam are:-
1.12th should be completed from the recognised board with physics, chemistry and maths as the compulsory subjects. your no. of attempts to complete 12th board doesn't matter to write the IIT exam.
2. minimum marks requirement in PCM is 60%. For the SC, ST candidates the minimum marks should be 55%.
3. the age limit to appear in IIT exam is 25years. for SC ,ST candidates the age limit is 30 years.
4. maximum no. of attempts for IIT is only 2 times..

dear friend,
yes ofcourse you can give iit jee and aieee exam. for cracking these exams, not only hard work is required but strategy is also required for preparation. you must first study from ncert books to clear your concept. after that i will suggest you to study from
tata mcgraw hills for maths
d c pandey for physics
arihant for chemistry
you must also for once try to solve all the previous years question papers to get the knowledge of pattern and difficulty level of the exam.
while solving the sample papers, never see the solution directly. first try to solve the questions by yourself two to three times. if then also you fail, then see the solution.
you must remember these tips to get good result.

don't worry about 3 attempts in 12th.
eligibility of IIT-JEE is:
age limit :less than 25 years(relaxation for SC/ST/PH is 30 years)
no.of.times:candidate can take exam atmost twice only
academic qualification: completed 12th class with minimum of 60% marks including Physics,chemistry and Maths in your qualifying exam for OC/BC and 55% for SC/ST,PH

so if you fit in all above mentioned criteria you can appear for IIT JEE exam.

I have failed in 12 in 2011 because i was suffering from serious disease and in 2012 i appeared for I.Sc in 2013 .Am i elligible for IIT-JEE 2013 ?

Yes, you will be eligible for the course as the criterias is to pass 12 standard with at least 50% in physics, chemistry and mathematics
You can also join the course through or even after diploma
so first focus on your intermediate exam on e you pass it with good marks you will be eligible
But if you di not manage to pass in this exam you will not be eligible further
