I am currently in my 3rd semester of b.tech mechanical from uptu.
I would like to know about the procedure for summer internship in BHEL.This internship I'd like to have when i'll be in my 3rd year.

If you will apply individually on your own, then there are very lees chances to get internship even if you are bright student as it is very big PSU and they lot of application.
Apply through the reference of your college.

Look companies do not offer summer training to students of the 3rd semester as far as I know.
Generally, the right time and according to the curriculum is mostly after the 6th semester.
However, if you wish to pursue then its good.
First and foremost make your Resume and send it to the HR manager of the company where you wish to do your training.
When you receive an acknowledgement letter from them, get your head of institutions signature on it and send it along with a No Objection Certificate which you can obtain from the T&P Cell in your college.

Also some additional information:
BHEL is a government organization as you must be knowing.
Now to get training in such places is not easy as many students apply for training in such places.
So if you have references in BHEL, then its good for you, otherwise I suggest you should try in other places as well to keep your options open.

for internship you have to send email or letter for internship in the desired Bhel compony. if they have a place for you then they will inform you.
other thing if any one of your known person in Bhel then you will immediately contact him for training in Bhel.beacuse many psu company compony want one your known person in their branch.

If you are willing to go for trainig in BHEL then its good.. you can go for it.

FOr this you will submitte training letter to bhel office and apply for registration there. its registration cost is 500.
so go for it its first come first serve basis.

Dear friend yes you can do summer training in bhel but you first make one letter from your college to training and placement department

you must make that letter immediately and send that letter to BHEL organisations..............


then he can reply 7-15 days after .then you can go training for BHEL .

The letter format should be this format............

You know for do training in BHEL you paid rs,500 for one week.............

this is the rule by BHEL................

Contact training & placement officer of your college regarding summer training in BHEL and through your college you may contact to the personnel department OR HR department of BHEL.


The personnel department Or HR department of BHEL helps & guide you regarding summer training, summer training schedule, summer training duration etc.

Well if you want to pursue a training in Bhel,then the foremost thing you should do is collect the training form from your college.Fill it up and get it stamped from college.Also get a letter from your college.
Now you are required to submit all the above things along with your educational details in the plant by visiting there.
They will contact once you are selected.

Procedure of industrial training in BHEL, HAL ,BEL during from my last sem in Diploma in mechtronics in NTTF ( april 2012 -
