By qualifying Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, you will able to apply for few of the public sector units because most of them conducts their own entrance exam. However, as per your qualification, I can only say that you are eligible to write GATE as well as Engineering Service Exam, but as far getting jobs in government sector is concerned, it depends upon your performance in those exams. If you do well in GATE, it doesn't mean you will get entry into public sector units. Companies which accepts GATE score do conducts interviews to assess candidates eligibility for the job. If you do well in it too, you will definitely get the job.
As far as Engineering Service Exam is concerned, your selection will depend upon your performance in the written examinations as well as in the Interview.
If you qualify all the stages with good score, you will definitely be considered for jobs in the engineering department of Indian Railway, Navy, Defense Forces etc.
Since you have scored 67% in your B.Tech program, you are eligible to apply for most of the public sector units which do or do not accepts GATE score.

HIeeee

IES exam is for those who come from engineering background.

Any engineer can appear for the exam.

Also last year in which a candidate can appear for the exam.

There is a condition that the candidate must have completed the course at the time of joining.

Also there is a minimum age requirement of 21 years.

Exam will be held on May 14. Period for 3 days.

So if you meet the eligibility criteria you must immediately start preparing for the exam.

To 7 of this month to form the test are available.

After this round there will be an interview.
