I completed MSc Pharmaceutical Chemistry. But my UG course was Bsc Polymer Chemistry. Am I eligible for Drug Inspector exam?

Am I eligible to give ugc-csir net exam after msc in pharmaceutical chemistry? and in what stream can I give it- life sciences/chemical sciences..?

To be eligible for becoming a Drug Inspector for most qualification is Bachelor degree in Pharmacy. For joining B. Pharmacy or equivalent course one should be 10+2 Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) as main subjects. After compeleting M.Pharma the aspiring candidates can sit for an exam conducted by UPSC,SSC or other state services selection board.
Sometimes UPSC,SSC or State Services board ask specifically for a Bachelors degree in Pharma . In that case , you are not eligible in the exam.

Eligibility:-
--Candidate must Passed B.Pharmacy for applying the post of Drug Inspector in any State.
-- For Entering B.Pharmacy,You have to first cleared your 12th standard with minimum of 50-60%Mark's with Physics,Chemistry,Biology as a main subjects.
OR
--Candidate of M.Pharmacy should also applied for the post of Drug Inspector in state level after clearing the Entrance exam conducted by UPSC.
If you are not intrested to work with government level,then you are also eligible to join Drug Inspector
post in various Pharmaceutical companies.

Average salary:- 30,000 -40,000 and its varies according to their state.
