i am an engineering student in a college affiliated to anna university chennai with some arrears in mechanical engineering. can i join indian navy eventhough i didnot completed my papers.

HI,
I am sorry to say that you can not join Indian Navy after completion of Diploma course.
If you want to join Indian Navy then there are 2 ways:-
> Through National Defence Academy Exam(N.D.A)
> Through Combine Defence Services Exam (C.D.S.E)

Both N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria N.D.A:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citize of India
> Medically fit


Eligibility criteria for C.D.S.E:-
> Pass graduation with recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year.
> Must be citize of India
> Medically fit

sir now i am in final year mechanical engineering, i am very interesting in navy.. so please tell me how can i join, is there any optitudes or any written exam conducted based on navy?

EDUCATION UALIFICATION:
--12th pass with at least 55%
--B.TECH OR BE degree with 65 % aggregate


age limit: 17 to 19.5 years


physical standard :

height: minimum 157 cm

eye standard : without glasses better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/9

color perception: cp2
