In order to be considered eligible for the National Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test, you will have to qualify your B.Sc program with a minimum of 60% marks and must have studied Maths for atleast one semester in your B.Sc program and for a minimum of one year in the higher secondary level.
Candidates belonging to Sc/St category are eligible with 55% marks in the same.
The test is based on Four Subjects:

• Mathematics
• Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning
• Computer Awareness
• General English

The candidate should be complete graduation in B.sc with mathec background in 12th and graduation with atleast of 60% marks from any recognised university.

5% of marks relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Candidate should be a citizen of india.


Selection procedure is based on the written test.

Written test pattern:

Mathematics,
Reasoning and analycal aptitude,
Computer awareness,
General english.

Sir,I want to study MCA and i want to write NIMSET exam.i got 53% in 10 2 with maths and 70% in B.Sc.i m belonging from ST category.can i write the exam?

NIMSET National Institute Of Technology.
This exam is conducted every year.
For NIMSET exam you have to complete your graduation with 60% and one subject maths neccessary. And you also have maths in your higher studies.
The relaxation about % is 5% for SC/ST.
