Having done B.Sc in Information Technology, you will be considered eligible for the post of I.T Officer in any of the 19 participating Banks in the IBPS Common Written Exam, provided you are within the age limit of 20-35 years.
The maximum age limit for candidates belonging to Sc/St category is 40 years and for OBC category, it is 38 years.

• The last date for online registration is 21-01-2012
• The examination will be conducted on 11-03-2012

Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation
OR
Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/Electronics & Tele Communication/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation/Computer Science/ Information
Technology/ Computer Applications from a recognised University/ Institution
OR
Graduate from a recognized university having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level

A Degree in Computer Science/Computer
Applications/ Information Technology/
Electronics/ Electronics &
Telecommunications/ Electronics &
Communication/ Electronics &
Instrumentation.

OR
Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/
Electronics & Tele Communication/
Electronics & Communication/
Electronics & Instrumentation/
Computer Science/ Information
Technology/ Computer Applications
from a recognised University/ Institution

OR
Graduate from a recognized university
with DOEACC ‘B’ level.


Eligibility for the Technical Officer scale 1,

A Degree in Engineering in Civil/
Electrical/ Mechanical/ Production/
Metallurgy/ Electronics/ Electronics &
Telecommunication/ Computer Science/
Information Technology/ Textile/
Chemical etc./ B.Pharm.

The age limit for the above officers is minimum of 20 Years and maximum of 35 Years.

As you have not completed your degree in B.TECH,you are not eligible to apply for the IBPS exam.
