i am living in hyderabad & want to take admission in b.ed, i have only 45%in graduation, can i get admission in b.ed or can do it by correspondent please give me the complete information where can i do it & what is admission date etc

Candidate seeking for admission in Bachelor of Education [BEd] program, in any of the recognized University in Hyderabad or in most of the Universities of other States of the country, must have completed the Bachelors degree program with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized University. However every University do grant concession in the qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to Sc/St/OBC category. The duration of the program is one year.

However, if a candidate is willing to pursue BEd program through distance mode then only completing the Bachelors degree program is good enough. There is no required percentage criteria. But in order to pursue through distance mode, candidate must hold a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized School. The duration of the program is two years.

There are many well recognized University which do offer BEd program through distance mode and the eligibility criteria for admission are as mentioned above. Following are the list of top Universities:

Indira Gandhi National Open University - IGNOU
Andhra University
Osmania University
Maduraj Kamraj University
Bangalore University
Kakatia University.
