To apply for AMIE Course you will have to meet these Eligibility conditions :-

Academic qualification :-

• You should have a Apprentice Training degree from the West Bengal University.
• You should also have a Intermediate degree from recognized board/university in English,Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.

Marks :-

• For General Category minimum marks should be 65%.
• For West Bengal Reserved Category minimum marks should be 50%.

Exam Pattern :-

• This exam will include two sections.
• Section I will be technical and it will be of 3 hours.
• Section II will be General sections and it will be of 2 hours.

Exam Syllabus :-


Section I -

• Material science and Engineering.
• Fundamentals of Design and Manufacturing.
• Computing and Informatics.
• Material science and Process.
• Computer system and Data Analysis.
• Engineering Drawings and Graphs.
• Fundamentals of Electronics and Instrumentation.

Section II -

• Analytical Reasoning.
• Numerical Ability.
• General Awareness.
• English Grammar and Comprehension.
