Actually I am going to sit for HCL in our college campus so I would like to know the pattern of HCL online exam and if possible could I know which part are to be studied while sitting for the interview round.????

HCL online test for b.tech graduates ::

General aptitude + Technical Test

there is no fixed pattern and it changes often from colleges to college.

General Aptitude may include questions from
1.quantitative aptitude 2. Data interpretation
for above topics you may refer to arun sharma's books for CAT
(TaTa McGraw Hill).... and practice solving Level 1 questions and a little of L2 questions
3. English or Verbal section :There are english grammar related question in making spelling, commas, corrections in the given test.
Following CAT material from anyone of CL, IMS,TIME upto L1 and overview of L2 would complete your preparation

TECHNICAL: includes elementary questions based on fundamental concepts like layering, switching

Time per question is less than a minute approx. 45 sec
so try solving faster and accuracy is importand

The written test contained
following sections
1.Quantitative Aptitude (25
Ques-35Mins)
2.Reasoning Questions (25
Ques-34Mins)
3.Verbal (25 Ques-25Mins)

Totaly 99 questions wil b there...
25 quans, 25 verbal, 25 logical resoning and 24 technical questions(basics i c, c++,dbms, data structure)
2 hours exam..
its online exam..
once if we answered a question if cant change it...
section cut off is there ...so concentrate on everything...

SIR ,i would like to say that in technical round which type of question ask i want know about for technical round which will be asked basic branch sub or c,c related question.....one more thing sir,that in HCL GD ALSO asked in after aptitude???i m hoping this query sir .................give reply soon
