Having completed M.Sc or any other masters degree does not makes you eligible for the National Eligibility Test until and unless you have scored a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST category) in the master degree examination.

Now, the University Grant Commission jointly conducts examination with Council of Scientific & Industrial Research for the following subjects:

• Chemical Sciences
• Earth Sciences
• Life Sciences
• Mathematical Sciences
• Physical Sciences

Since you are pursuing your masters in Nanotechnology, you will be eligible to apply for Chemical Sciences paper.
