I have passed class 12th in 2012 cbse board.. Just by 59% and i m pass in every subjects. But i want to repeat class 12th by another school and same board i.e. cbse.
So please tell me can i repeat class 12th?

Yes you can.

For that you have to talk to the administrative officers in your school first.
They will ask you to send a letter to the CBSE board and thus you can give the exam as an external.

So quickly go and talk to the officers, complete all formalities and start preparing for the exam.

Dear Friend ,

first of all i just ask you to tell us the reason for which you want to go for cbse 12th exam once more , but as per your ask i want to tell you that you cannot go for the exam once again if you have passed the examination with 59% marks.

You can give the examination only if you opt for one of the below mentioned :

* Either you have failed , then you can give the exam once again.

* Or you can give improvemental exam so that you can give the examination of that subject in which you have got less marks.

In my opinion , you should go for improvemental exams.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

hi friend..i think you can not study again your +2 standard because before joining in your +2 you had submitted your ssc t.c(transfer certificate) in your college.so if,you want to join any college to studying +2 they asks about your t.c of your ssc. so please do not go for that type of thoughts.it's not a major problem to continue your studies i hope you understand do not waste your time.you can take your teacher suggestion to get an better way..all the best for your bright future

Sir, I have failed Physics. I want to repeat in class 12 privately that's why i am not giving compartmant exam for Physics. Is this possible ?

Yes my friend,

You can repeat your 12th class after completion of 12th CBSE board but why you want to repeat it.Means what is the reason behind it.If the reason is less percentage then my friend you can give the improvement paper for this.

But if the reason is another then you can repeat it.But according to my point of view,if clear the 12th class then i think you have not to go for it again.

Stress more on the quantitative exams rather than to go for 12th again.As after 12th you have to go for graduation and there are lots of entrance exams which you have to give,so you have to prepare for these rather than go for 12th again and again.



Your marks does not matter for an admission in graduation course.The only thing that matters in your rank from the entrance exams.

There are lots of graduation courses for which you can go after completion of 12th.You can choose according to your stream in 12th class.

If you want to do 12th class again because of the reason of change in stream then you can do my friend.But there are lots of other course through which you can take a path to other stream.

Well everyone has his/her own choice.It is your choice to what to do.So go for that one which suits you.Choose appropriately path and select wisely.

There are so many colleges or universities in which you can get an admission for the graduation.

can i give the improvment exam in cbse bord ? will it effect in future..

I can fully understand that you want to better your performance in the 12th standard. The marks obtained in 12th standard play critical role in applying for graduation courses.

Whether you want to apply for Bachelor of Technology, MBBS, LLB etc the marks obtained in 12th standard are crucial. Therefore it is perfectly normal that you want to improve your marks.

However to do that there is no need to take admission for 12th standard and go to school again everyday. You should simply apply for the Improvement Exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The Improvement Exam is for students like you who want to improve their performance in the 12th standard. You can appear for this exam to improve score of 1 or all 5 subjects.

It is generally recommended to appear for Improvement Exam for all the 5 subjects. Otherwise you will be carrying around 2 different marksheet for 12th standard. You may want to avoid that situation.

The best part is that you will not be required to go to school everyday. Just simply appear for the exams and try your level best to improve the marks in 12th board. This exam can only be given in the succeeding year. Therefore if you have completed 12th from CBSE board in 2012 then you can appear for Improvement Exam in 2013.

The forms are made available on the selected branches of Syndicate Bank. You should visit the official website of CBSE and check when the forms will be released for the Improvement Exam.

You should also remember that you can not appear in any subject exam which you have failed. Apart from that you can not add or replace any subject that you originally picked to complete 12th standard.

Dear friend,

Yes, of course you can repeat Class 12th if you wish to.

You will have to appear for CBSE Improvement Exam as a Private Candidate next year along with Regular Candidates.

Improvement Forms will be released in the month of August and you can obtain them from your CBSE Regional Office.

You will have to pay fees through Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, CBSE.

After filling the Improvement Form, Admit Card will come to your home in the month of January.

If you want to improve your percentage for JEE Mains Exam, then you must go for it.

Because, now JEE Mains Exam will include 40% marks of Board for preparing Merit List.

59% is not so good percentage for CBSE. You must work hard this year and secure percentage above 80%.

So, that it would help you for JEE Mains Exam next year.

Yes , you can appear after doing 12 th after passing it also.usually it is seen that a student getting less percentage in 12th are goinr re appearing the exam of 12th for increasing their percentage that to above 60%. As today any where you apply any type of application form the minimum requirement is 60% in 12th for general category.
Even you can appear exam for some specific subjects like English ,physics etc.
